HERS testing verifies that certain energy-related features of a home or building meet California’s energy compliance requirements. Depending on the project, HERS verification may be required for HVAC changeouts, duct leakage testing, airflow, fan watt draw, refrigerant charge, QII inspections, and other Title 24 measures.
